Varsity games – three 17 minute periods, with an ice make between the second and third period.

JV games – three 15 minute periods, no ice make during game.

Girls’ games – three 15 minute periods, no ice make during game.

Timed intermissions - 

  • After the conclusion of the first period for varsity and each period for jv/girls put 2:00 minutes on the clock.
  • After all players have left the ice at the conclusion of the second period of a varsity game put 15:00 minutes on the clock.
  • When 3:00 minutes are left on the clock between 2nd and 3rd period of varsity game sound the horn with a triple blast to alert officials.
  • When 2:00 minutes are left on the clock between 2nd and 3rd period of varsity game sound the horn with a double blast to alert players and coaches.
  • At the conclusion of a tied game that will go to OT put 2:00 minutes on the clock.

 

All start of game warm ups are 5 minutes.  There is no additional warm up prior to the third period for varsity.

 

All regular season games are subject to a curfew.  When clock time remaining is equal to remaining scheduled game time the clock should go to run time.  Officials and both benches must be notified.

 

Time permitting 5 minute 3 v 3 stop time sudden death OT for games tied at end of regulation.  No shoot outs during regular season. If tied at end of 5 minute OT, game ends as tie.
