Required credentials to play for HPHL:

1. USA Hockey registration

2. HPHL online registration

3. SafeSport Training for players born in 2005 or earlier (if not done during fall/winter season.)  Must use the "core training" link.  The "youth athlete training" courses do NOT qualify players to be on a roster.

4. School ID needs to match the school you listed on registration.  We are accepting the grade report listing the player's name and school attending as school ID.

• If the grade report is from a state other than CO or WY or does not include the school name, a copy of the player's Colorado HS id will be required.

5. 1st term (or most recent term) grades with player's name and name of school on report.  You will need to show 3rd term or most recent grades again prior to playoffs.  See below for the HPHL grade policy.

 

Grade Policy

Players must submit their most recent report card at the start of the season and again prior to playoffs.

Grades must meet the following criteria:

2.0 or higher average for the term (not the cumulative gpa) AND no F’s.

Official AP or Honors classes count one grade higher, ie; C=B, B=A, except F=F.

If grades do not meet the requirements, the player may obtain a grade update showing current grades in ALL current classes.  This must be signed by either the player’s counselor or each teacher.  Once an update meeting grade requirements has been submitted and approved the player is eligible to participate in games.  Players are allowed to practice with the team while working on improving grades.
