Step One - USA Hockey Registration

  • Have your 2022-2023 USA Hockey number handy.
    • Click here if you have already registered with USA Hockey, but need to look up your number.
    • Click here to register with USA Hockey if you have not already done so this fall or winter.
    • There is a $46 charge to register with USA Hockey.
  • Once you have your USA Hockey confirmation number, return to this site to finish your registration.

Step Two - HPHL Registration

  • You will either need to log into your Sportsengine account or create a new account.  Log in/create account links are in the upper left corner of the page.
  • Make sure you enter a valid and accurate email address.  It will be used for league communication.  If you are registering more than one coach, you will need to enter a valid and accurate email address for each registrant.
  • If you are also a Club Coordinator, be sure to indicate that as one of your roles.
  • Return to this page to finish the last steps once you have submitted your online registration.

Step Three - Mandatory Credentials

Each coach will need to provide the team manager with confirmation of completion of annual Concussion Awareness Training for this year.

Each coach will also need the following in order to coach in the HPHL:

  • Current CEP (expires 2023 or later). Contact HPHL if you do not have current CEP.
  • Completed midget module. Access modules here.  One time requirement. No need to redo if midget module taken in past.
  • Current SafeSport. Yearly requirement. No need to redo if taken during the fall/winter season.
  • Completed background screen for the 22-23 season. No need to redo if taken during the fall/winter season.
